Ahoy Captain!

It was obvious that, like every premiere, this one will also be a crazy ride, although in this case rather a crazy cruise. But one thing was not expected - that our crew on this special day will be missing…

Yes... You read that right. But before that, a few words about how it usually is. Many months before the premiere, we have a photoshoot, and long before that, the prints and new shapes are created. After the photoshoot all the products land on our website - it's a complex process again, because we have to write descriptions, select and edit photos, and then load it all on the website. After that we just wait for the premiere and prepare marketing materials for the big day.

And on that day, stress - you know (we also wrote about it HERE). But this time, besides all the other reasons for nerves, there was one more - the lack of our team, which can save the situation quickly if something goes wrong. And believe me, sometimes one wrong number appears somewhere where it shouldn’t and there is a problem that is not so easy to solve. 

So where was our team if not on our "ship"? Well, Zuzia - sick in bed with an antibiotic, Paulina was supposed to return for the premiere after visiting her parents, but in the end she stayed at the family home a little longer and she had the perfect reason for that - quarantine. That day Natalia was working remotely from home and finally only three of our crew remained on our ship: Asia, Klaudia (me) and the captain of the entire ship - Ilona.

Although, to be honest, our Captain was already on the other side of the world in her thoughts, at the Playtime fair which was about to begin in just over a week. To be honest I have to admit that I was also not completely focused on the premiere, because then my #1 concern was delayed shipments with clothes for the fair (maybe someday we will tell you more about this adventure, although, honestly, we probably prefer to forget about it).

And so the premiere - the most important day of the season - passed us very normally. Without a cake and balloons and with a very limited composition, but nevertheless your reactions to the new collection made up for this unfortunate coincidence. And of course, don't worry, the cake may not have been there, but we made up for it with chocolate and other goodies!
